He is a Smurf who loves to sleep, which at times causes trouble for his fellow Smurfs, though sometimes his habits can be a valuable asset.
Despite being called “lazy” by his fellow Smurfs, there is a much deeper meaning behind his excessive sleeping that is not known to any Smurf, except for Doctor and Papa Smurf, he suffers from the condition called Idiopathic hypersomnia.
His favorite place to sleep is in the Village well.
